Licorice International Partners With Lincoln Library Adult Summer Reading Program

Lincolnites - Have you heard about the Adult Summer Reading program at Lincoln City Libraries? There's no reason to let the kids have all the fun.  Join the Adult Summer Reading Program, read books and earn some great prizes.
This summer, Licorice International is partnering with the Adult Summer Reading Program. Every adult who registers for the program will receive a "Licorice Buck" good for $1 toward licorice or other treats at the Licorice International Retail Store, located at 801 Q Street in the Haymarket. Plus, the first 500 to complete the program will receive a Licorice International "Buy One Get One Free" coupon, good for up to $5.

The 2011 Summer Reading Program starts June 1. Here's how to participate:
  • Register at any Lincoln library.
  • Read four books between June 1 and July 31. For each book read, fill out an entry form available at the library, turn it in, and get your booklet stamped by library staff — each form turned in gives you one chance at your local branch's Book Lover's Bag drawing at the end of the summer!
  • After reading four books, complete the evaluation form in your booklet, and turn it in to be entered into the Grand Prize drawing.
  • After you have read four books and turned in your evaluation for the Grand Prize drawing, continue to read and submit additional entry forms for the Book Lover's Bag branch drawings.
See you at Lincoln City Libraries and Licorice International this summer!

This is my summer to read the classics. I've already finished Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte and Jane Eyre by her sister Charlotte. And now I'm reading Les Miserables.
